Annie Hayes makes handmade hooked rugs inspired by the 19th century. Her rugs are made of hand-dyed and as-is wool on a linen foundation. She produces rugs based on her original drawings and often works on commissioned rugs. Her work has been featured in Old-House Interiors, Early Homes, and others. She teaches on both a local and national level. She is a juried member of TFA – Traditional Folk Art – a web site featuring the work of many of the most respected American folk artists.
