So many construction dates of houses and barns out there are wrong. What can you do? You will learn secret architectural clues that can tell you what era your old house and barn were built. All of them differ – no two are just alike. Know what is different about your cherished old building. You will come away with a much greater understanding about various construction details and gain insights into style, design and – importantly what is called in the trade – architectural fabric. Then you will know if your place was built during Washington’s time or Andrew Jackson’s or other long forgotten building period. The Historic Home Show will offer a rare meeting of like minded people concerned about preserving remaining architectural treasures from the distant past.
