Alexandra Pecci is a freelance writer and the author of Tourist Town Guides Salem: A Guide to America's Bewitching City. Her work has appeared in The Washington Post, The (Toronto) Star, Vancouver Sun, National Post, Star Tribune, Edmonton Journal, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Stars and Stripes, Boston Magazine and more.
Pecci grew up on the Massachusetts North Shore, which gave her a deep love of history, the ocean, literature and, of course, good lobster rolls. She turned that love into a freelance writing career, digging into the area's cultural and culinary scenes with stories about travel, entertainment and history. She is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Boston.
Pewabic fabricates heirloom quality architectural tiles for public and private installations, gift and commemorative tiles, vessels, gardenware, ornaments and both reproductions and adaptations of its historic designs and offers classes, workshops, lectures, internships and residency programs for studio potters and other artists.
